One simple choice
Left and right are always viewed from inside the car, facing forward. Steering-wheel position does not change the vehicle side.

Each selection supplies one assembly. To replace both sides, add one Left Side and one Right Side to the cart.
One complete assembly
The side camera, turn-signal light and molded outer housing come together as one replacement unit, with mounting features shaped for the existing fender opening.
Use it for a diagnosed failed camera, damaged repeater lens or broken housing. The vehicle wiring harness and installation tools are not included.
Keep the repair focused
One selected side assembly, supplied as the camera, turn-signal light and molded housing shown. Order one of each side only if the repair requires both.
1820734-00-D identifies the left application; 1820735-00-D identifies the right. Minor revision suffixes can change over time.
Use this part for a diagnosed failed camera, damaged signal strip or broken housing. A black camera feed or warning can also come from the connector, wiring or software. This replacement does not add HW4/AI4 capability or unlock Autopilot/FSD features.
Plan the installation
Have a Tesla-experienced technician complete the repair and the applicable software checks. The job includes protecting the paint, replacing the correct side, reconnecting the camera and lamp wiring, checking the view and signal, and completing the required reset and calibration procedure.
Remove the failed unit and seat the replacement securely in the fender opening.
Confirm the camera feed, turn signal and connector security before closing the repair.
Follow the vehicle-specific service procedure and complete the required manual-driving calibration before relying on affected driver-assistance features.
Calibration distance varies with road markings and conditions. Tesla notes that camera self-calibration can require up to 100 miles (160 km). Refer to Tesla's current service information for your exact model and region.
