Frozen Spring Truffle – Tuber borchii (B Grade)
Whole Frozen Tuber borchii for Culinary Use
This product consists of 100% whole frozen Spring White Truffle (Tuber borchii) selected in B Grade. Individual truffles typically weigh 1–15 g and measure approximately 1–3 cm in diameter. This format is suited to sauces, fillings, butter preparations, creams, pâtés and other cooked applications where visual uniformity is less important.
What B Grade Means
B Grade describes the physical selection of the truffles. It may include smaller or more irregular whole specimens with natural surface marks and variation in size, shape and appearance. Commercial grade does not guarantee a particular aroma or flavour intensity.
Season and Availability
Fresh Tuber borchii is seasonal. Frozen stock may remain available outside the fresh harvest period, depending on approved batches and current inventory.
Appearance, Aroma and Texture
The exterior may range from pale cream and yellowish ochre to light or reddish brown. The interior may vary from pale cream to light hazelnut or brownish tones, crossed by fine pale veins. The aroma may show earthy, mushroom-like and garlicky notes, sometimes accompanied by mild nutty or buttery nuances. Freezing naturally changes the texture, and the product may become softer after defrosting.
Culinary Use
Use frozen Tuber borchii in sauces, fillings, butter preparations, creams, pâtés, pasta, risotto, egg dishes, potatoes and meat preparations. Defrost only the quantity required and incorporate it into the chosen recipe. Explore the complete Spring White Truffle collection or browse all Frozen Truffles.

If the parcel is damaged, significantly delayed or shows signs that the frozen condition may not have been maintained, photograph the parcel and product and contact Terra Ross before use.
