They may also be finely chopped for sauces, fillings and other warm preparations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAdd fresh truffle shortly before serving or use gentle warmth to help release its aroma. Avoid prolonged cooking and intense direct heat.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eStorage and Preparation\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eRefrigerate promptly at approximately +2°C to +4°C. Wrap each specimen in clean, dry absorbent paper and place it in a clean, closed glass container. Replace the paper daily or whenever it becomes damp.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eClean shortly before preparation with a soft food-safe brush. Use a small amount of cold water only when necessary and dry thoroughly.
