Restore access.
Keep the charging port.

A replacement for the motorized door at the rear-left charge port. The cover, hinge and actuator come together with the attached harness, so you can replace the damaged door assembly while retaining the charging inlet.

Choose the repair

Start with the door.

Choose this assembly for a damaged lid, broken hinge or diagnosed door-actuator fault on a matching North American charge-port system.

Door or hinge damaged?

This assembly replaces the motorized door, reflector, hinge and attached actuator. It is a practical option when several of those components need repair together.

Door opens, but charging fails?

Have the charging inlet and charging system diagnosed first. This part replaces the door mechanism; it does not replace charging contacts, the charge-port ECU or high-voltage cables.

If only the outer reflector cover is damaged and the mechanism works normally, a cover-only repair may be sufficient.

01 · Choose your vehicle

North American specification.
The matching generation.

For the legacy Model 3 and Model Y charge-port layout with the matching 1505513-00-A reference and white harness connector shown below.

Application guide · North American harness-style charge-port door
Vehicle Choose this version for
Model 3 2017–2023, before Highland; matching North American door and harness.
Model Y 2020–2024, before Juniper; matching North American door and harness.
Installation position Rear left, at the charge port. One position; no left/right variant to choose.

Choose by the vehicle's original charging specification. This is the North American version. It is not the CCS2 or GB/T door, and is not the version for Model 3 Highland, Model Y Juniper, Model S or Model X. Using a charging adapter does not change the door assembly your car requires.

02 · Match the reference

The number.
The shape.
The connection.

1505513-00-A

Compare this OE reference with the original part and match the door shape, mounting details and attached harness. Keep the complete number, including the suffix, when checking your replacement.

This is a new aftermarket replacement. The OE number identifies the application; the product is not a genuine Tesla-branded part.

03 · Check the connector

Make the right match.

The photograph shows the white connector, its face, the attached wiring and the body grommet. Compare the latch, keyed shape and terminal layout with your existing assembly.

Match the harness style, not just its color. A different connector or mounting layout means you need a different version. Do not cut or splice the vehicle wiring to make a mismatched door fit.

  1. Confirm the correct assembly.Check the original reference, mounting shape and white connector before removing the existing part.
  2. Use a qualified EV technician. The Tesla door-assembly procedure includes electrical isolation and charge-port voltage checks. Have a suitably trained technician follow the procedure for your vehicle.
  3. Test before finishing.Check the grommet seating, panel alignment and powered door movement. Verify charging operation after the repair, and do not force the motorized door closed.

Before you order

Quick answers.

Is this a charging socket or a charge-port door?

It is the motorized charge-port door assembly. It includes the door, reflector, hinge, actuator and attached harness. The charging socket and charge-port ECU are separate parts.

Does it fit every Model 3 and Model Y?

Choose it for a matching North American legacy Model 3 (2017–2023) or Model Y (2020–2024), using the OE reference and connector photograph above. Highland, Juniper, CCS2 and GB/T versions require the corresponding door for their charging-port design.

Do I select left or right?

No. This part goes at the rear-left charge port. Select one assembly per vehicle; no side option is required.

Is the red panel a replacement taillight?

The red panel is the reflector on the charge-port door. This product is not a complete brake-light or taillight assembly.

Will this fix a car that will not charge?

Use this part for a diagnosed door-mechanism fault. If the door opens normally but charging fails, the charging system needs diagnosis; replacing the door does not repair the inlet, ECU or high-voltage circuitry.

Is it a genuine Tesla part?

No. This is a new aftermarket replacement, with OE reference 1505513-00-A provided for application matching.

What does the price include?

The price is for one complete door assembly as described above. Delivery charges are shown at checkout. See TESERY's shipping policy and return policy for the terms that apply to your order.
